Luxe swimsuits

The Lacquered group:

Featured Style: This group is fabulous because it uses a great lightweight fabric that is not usually part of our collection—the result is a beautiful, wet, liquid-y, leathery, or, as we like to call it, lacquered finish that melts off the body and shines in the sun. See here the classic ruched surplice-neck swimdress in teal, a style you may remember from last season in blush pink. In the lacquered teal (and those dazzling chandelier earrings) Carleen looks utterly glamorous! This swimdress has a built-in silent underwire, a high back, and comes in sizes 6-16.

Additional Styles: We’re also bringing back that popular skirted retro bikini (6-14), as well as an older favorite: the V-neck silent underwire suit w/ ring detail down the front (6-16). Note, these two styles are also available in the Lizard group. The A-line skirt is best paired with the V-neck suit, if you are looking for some extra bottom coverage. A few brand new styles in this group as well: a sleek monokini with side cutouts (6-14) and an unconstructed V-neck halter one-piece with a ruched body (6-14), which also has a retro feel to it.

Colors: Aside from the ravishing teal shown above, you can get these styles in lacquered magenta or lacquered black.

The Leopard Foil group:

Featured Style: Our low plunge, low back halter maillot has gained some pretty great press lately (British reality star Millie Mackintosh wore the all-white version in an episode of her show Made In Chelsea and later in a St Tropez ad campaign; LA-based water ballet company the Aqualillies have made a few appearances recently wearing the teal version of this style as well). Now you can get it in a new print. Leopard foil: a not-too-metallic, subtly textured print in a chocolate-y hue that is luxurious in a not-too-animal-print-y kind of way. Unconstructed and offered in sizes 6-14.

Additional Styles: This group is great for women who appreciate a spunkier print (for all things leopard print straddle this line, to be sure) but in a neutral palette, and who are also still looking for the best coverage and support in a swimsuit. Most of these suits are ideal in the way of coverage and support. For well-supported one-pieces, choose between a sweetheart-neck molded underwire suit with a keyhole back (6-14) or the classic twist V-neck suit, also with an underwire (6-16). For a fuller bust, the same twist suit is also available in a D+ cup option, the only non-basic piece to offer this special cup sizing for Cruise 2013 (This suit also comes in 6-16). A plain A-line skirt can be paired with any of these suits. As for two pieces, there is a constructed lingerie bra with a twist that we recommend pairing with a plain mid-hip pant (all cut in the same print, sizes 6-14). There is also an unconstructed triangle top with string pant, another new silhouette for Cruise 2013 which is more youthful and sexy (6-14).

Colors: Chocolate-hued leopard foil print (with a subtly metallic bronze finish)
